Early Intervention Programme

To receive this service your child will need to have:
Two or more needs that impact on their ability to live an ordinary life and enjoy typical experiences.

These needs include:
Physical
Social
Understanding/thinking
Movement
Feeding
Sensory impairment
Communication
Self care

You will need to be willing to work with the team so that you, with your child, can be supported to access education, community and leisure opportunities.

Who Is In The Team?
Early Intervention Teacher
Occupational Therapist
Physiotherapist
Speech & Language Therapist
Child Youth & Family/Whanau Support Coordinators
Kaimahi Whanau
Children and whanau/family work with whichever team members can best meet their needs.

How can I be referred?
All referrals must come from a Paediatrician.
Places are limited.
