Who Is this Programme For:To be a part of this programme your child
will need to be:
At risk of delayed development because of his or her medical or physical needs.
Also:You must be willing to work with the team so
that you and your child can be supported to
access education, community and
leisure opportunities.

Speech & Language Therapist
Child & Family/Whanau Support Coordinators

Children and whanau/family work with whichever team members can best meet their needs. Early Intervention teachers work closely with other team members and may be called upon for advice
For how long will I be seen?We will visit you at your home until your child is 12 months old. We will then discuss with you what their needs are likely to be from 18 months onwards. At this stage a referral to another programme or service that will best meet your child's and family/whanau needs may occur.This may or may not be a CCS Programme.
How can I be referred? All referrals must come from a Paediatrician. Places are limited by availability of resources.
